My (f24) husband (m29) is a born again Christian he doesn’t know if he was baptised as an infant. In 2012 we got married in the Methodist Church and I was a non practicing Catholic back then. But 2 years ago I come back to the faith. I want to live and die as a Catholic faithful follower of Christ more than ever and raise my 2 children under 2 in the faith. Both our children aren’t baptised yet. But is it possible for me to receive communion? My husband is not willing to come with me to talk to the priest but he agreed to raise our children Catholics. My husband said to me he’ll think about getting baptised when he is 65! That’s too long! He believes that having faith in Christ is good enough for him. But I desire for my family to get to heaven. I’m praying for him everyday. I was told my husband can write a letter to the pastor sayimg he’s okay with getting our marriage recognised by the Church but is this possible for an unbaptised Christian?
