Hi all - I’m new to the forums here but I thought I’d throw a question out.
I’m in a long-term relationship where we are discerning marriage. We are both practicing Catholics of marrying age. My sweetheart is a good man - he guards my chastity, goes out of his way to do things for me, is (usually) patient, and wants to have a Catholic family.
But here’s the deal - our personalities are SO different!
I am a very passionate person who is constantly forging ahead, wanting to learn more about the faith, evangelize, get involved etc. He is a more steady, quiet person who would rather stay home and focus on the everyday, practical things of life.
Anyone here married to their “opposite”? Any words of wisdom?
Thanks!
