Martha Stewart verdict: lying is no longer a sin?

It seems to depend on who is lying. It seems far more serious for a defense witness to lie than for a prosecution witness. As I recall it required a loud outcry before the police office in the OJ case was finally charged with perjury; then he got off with no jail time. Martha wasn’t even under oath and got jail.

that’s EST-9:00am… Well in spite of her issues right now she is still a trendsetter… it doesn’t mean that Martha is a bad person. Well in most cases people would say that she is a criminal… But when you going to think that Martha is still a good person and she’s a good talk show host too…

I do not know what a “bad” person is…

In reality, most people are not “malicious”; that is they do not actively seek inflicted harm on people. People participate in selfish behavior to benefit themselves, and this behavior sometimes has detrimental effects on others welfare.
