Are you suggesting that we actually have to read books?
That’s what I do, myself.

I also pile them up, and dive into them and swim around like a porpoise, and throw them into the air and let them hit me on the head.

It takes a lot of practice.

Meanwhile, I am leaving now to shift 4 boxes of them to the storage area, space being what it is, in the house.

You got it. “Only a Poor Old Man”, Dell 386. Probably second only to “Christmas for Shacktown”, in my estimation, for all time favorite comic.

GKC, collector of Barks, and of Don Rosa

Well, I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone go so far as to claim the CE to be “preferred” over VII or the CCC, but I have many times read comments on the internet that hint that it was somehow on the same level as the CCC or VII.
Consider yourself a lucky man…😃

Yes, Rosa is almost Barksian. All the other writers, not so good. King of the Golden River with the summer shrinks is up there, and anything with Gladstone, is good.

Friends call me Bos’n Pintail. 😉

He channels Barks, I think. Got me a bunch of Rosa original sketches, and a fully rendered original Scrooge, hand-colored, posed holding the little train from Shacktown.

You have good taste.

I have one child and another due Monday. I come here to escape the Disney.

For which sin is this my penance? Lord, have mercy.

Ain’t that just like a Protestant, to call a little taste of Heaven penance? 😉
