My BS detector overloaded and I stopped reading about 2 pages worth in.

Too many things spoken as fact that are nonsense, at least in the world I live in.

The statement from computer programming comes to mind: GIGO… Garbage in, garbage out.

Basically, it boils down to the fundamental difference between the Hegelian and Marxist worldview. Hegel was a transcendentalist; Marx thought that transcendentalism was all poppycock, and was himself a materialist. Marx thought that the transcendentalists were all navel-gazers, and were wasting their time: real philosophy only happens in the concrete, according to Marx.

Therefore, inasmuch as Hegel asserted that the grounds of higher math were dependent on transcendental rather than material considerations (e.g., a priori considerations that might be intuited, rather than real considerations that must be observed and deduced), Marx thought that Hegel was so full of baloney that it was coming out his ears.

I think that reasonably summarizes the perspective of the article.

The website has a lot on hegel. It says at one point “when Hegel starts talking about God, we skip to the next paragraph.” I thought the article was good though, although I didn’t totally get it

Well… Marx was an atheist. Do you expect any different sentiment from his admirers?
