I still don’t get it. Do you mean Catholics can’t believe Jesus came down the birth canal?
 
Ok, then exactly HOW was Jesusborn? Did he miraculously pop out of her belly?
 
Some have wondered what is Catholic teaching regarding if the Blessed Mother had pain or not when She birthed Jesus.

The answer is “no” (the Blessed Virgin did NOT have pain).

It was also asked if this was Catholic teaching.

The answer is “yes” this is Catholic teaching.

Ahh, rereading your question I might have been a little overzealous there.

It is possible it occurred through the birth-canal, but without any “damage” or “pain” (no blood, screaming, agony, etc.)

It is also possible Jesus was born in some other way, though I suppose this might be more unlikely given what the Church has previously taught.
 
Truthfully, I don’t know what the Church teaches about my question, now. There are lots of opinions here, not to mention my former priests’ email. I asked him if that was his opinion or Church teaching but haven’t heard back yet.

I don’t think seeking the Church teaching on how Jesus was born, especially after all the vague things I’ve read on the subject, is offensive.

what exactly do you find offensive? Jesus was born in in the way human beings are born
 
My former priest and some other people say He miraculously popped out of Mary’s belly, not like all humans.

he needs to go back to seminary & take a refresher training session

This has still not happened. The Church has never taught that geocentrism is wrong. Certain clergy certainly agree that it is wrong, but the Church’s position on this is officially the same as it ever was.

Rightly so too, because it is quite likely that we are in the center.

Though, surprisingly, I knew the Church was mistaken on this point of science by the age of 13 after a year of Physics lessons. It didn’t affect my faith - I was taught by Priests.

You join the dots re biology and virginity 🙂

I told him in email that things I’ve read sounded like Jesus magically appeared outside Mary’s stomach, and asked him if that’s the way He was born, or was He born through Mary’s birth canal?

He replied with what I posted earlier, in post#180.

Brian how about toning down the language and the attitude.
We all know what Hope means.

And she is simply relaying what her Priest told her - sadly.
From Hope’s previous posts she likely still agrees with you anyways.
