“The Holy Eucharist is the Bread that comes from our Heavenly Mother. It is bread produced by Mary from the flour of her immaculate flesh, kneeded into dough with her virginal milk”-Fr. Stefano Manelli, Jesus Our Eucharistic Love)
And…
St. Albert the Great said,
“…if you wish to experience intimacy with Mary, let yourself be carried within her arms and nourished by her blood…Go with this ineffable chaste thought to the banquet of God and you will find in the Blood of the Son the nourishment of the mother”
Have you thought of this connection between Mary and Jesus’ presence in the Eucharist
it says so much about the ‘real presence’, about his unique, ongoing union with our Lady, abouther maternal love for us, about the incarnational nature of the the Eucharist, about the relationship between sacramental grace and Mary as Mediatrix of all graces.
Don’t forget to acknowledge Our Lady at Calvary, as a source of the Eucharist tomorrow at Mass!
Please add any other relationships, connections between Mary and the Eucharist
