Dear Brothers and Sisters,

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

Yesterday, (Nov. 9) pondering the Feast of the Dedication of the “Mother Church of Rome”, St. John Lateran, it reminded me of Mary and of each one of us as “temples of the Holy Spirit”. Today I continue to ponder this wonderful reality of the indwelling Trinity and how often I and others have neglected to remain present to Him Who is within.

Jesus comforted His Disciples on the eve of His Passion by promising that the Holy Spirit would bring them into the complete Truth (John 16:13). He assures us Of this same presence of the Holy Spirit each day, if only we open our minds and hearts to Him as Mary did on this earth. We are “living stones” built into the temple not built by hands. We are members of His Mystical Body, united to one another, members of one another with Christ as our Head. Mary as our Mother continues to care for us as she cared for Him, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The University of Dayton has done much research on this and it is very helpful to read from their site HERE. If you would like to read and respond to anything from that link or reply to the the little that I’ve shared today, I’d be glad to hear from you.
