Mary Appears in my dream, I don’t know why, and other info provided

Okay to start off I’m not really very religious.
I don’t go to church and I’ve only read small passages of the Bible. My dads family is catholic and I never got baptized. I do believe in god.

That being said here’s what happen and I would like to know if it has any meaning.

Last night I had a dream that I was sitting on the beach with a few of my family members we were leaning against a old wooden fence and there was a storm rolling in so we were watching the waves. All the sudden a big wave starts to form as tall as the sky and we all start running. I stop and turn around to look and it’s dark grey first it looks like a cross but it’s The Virgin Mary and her face gets really close to mine and I say Mary?? And she says yes.
Then I woke up because of my alarm. I wish I could have finished this dream.
I have no clue what it could possibly mean.
I have been wondering what path in life I should take as I’ve been looking for a job and every job seems to never work out or i never get the position. I’m only 23 and have been wondering what path god wants me to take since the one I’m on doesn’t seem to be working.

Any advice about the dream would be appreciated.

Try praying for Mary’s intercession to help you sort out your path in life. I think she was just reminding you she’s there and wants to help you.

Aside from the other suggestions, if you keep having these kind of dreams and experiences I would speak with a priest about it (I was going to say seek a Spiritual Director but you aren’t even catholic yet!). It seems like a pretty positive thing 🙂
 
I think it could be a sign from heaven. Our Lady wants you you to know she loves you a lot and is there for you.
 
Maybe it is a sign not to be overly anxious or stressed but have faith and trust in God.

It could mean simply that you’re thinking about the path that you should take in your faith journey, and you know that some of your family members believe in what the Catholic Church teaches.

Keep praying, and discerning, and asking God to lead you in your choices!
 
For many of us, just like the story of the Visitation in the gospels, it is Mary that introduces us to Christ.
 
Try asking god for guidance. And for your dream I am in a situation where I hear spirits all the time and I hear mother Mary all the time she said she loves us all so much. I’m not an expert on spirits or dreams but I have a feeling the message she wanted to give you relates to where you want to be in life, like You seen love around you with your family and she sent out her love just to remind you she’s are there for you
 
The old wooden fence is your current life, it provides no protection from the oncoming storms, yet you and your family lean on it because it’s comfortable and familiar. Mary is calling to you too a new life, that will be founded on solid ground. Read Matthew 7:24-27. Then try to learn to pray the rosary and meditate on the life of Jesus it contains. God bless you.
