This might sound like an odd question but…
I know Mary gave birth to Jesus in the natural, but does the CC claim that Mary gave birth to the form and substance of Jesus’ glorified body too??, ie, did she give birth to what John sees in Rev 1:13-17,
“…one like unto the Son of man…his **head **and his **hairs **were white like wool, as white as snow; and his **eyes **were as a flame of fire; And his **feet **like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his **voice **as the sound of many waters…and out of his **mouth **went a sharp twoedged sword: and his **countenance **was as the sun shineth in his strength…And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last.”
If not, then who created Jesus’ glorified body? Jesus Himself or the Father? Or has His glorified ‘spiritual body’ (1 Cor 15:44) somehow always been (John 17:5)…or?
Any help appreciated, H.
