Mary help!!!!!

I am probably making this harder than it seems . In The Glories of Mary, St. Alphonsus Liguori states that “the intercession of Mary is even necessary to salvation; we say necessary–not absolutely, but morally.” WHat exactly does this mean absolutetly but morally? Thanks!

Limiting my comment solely to what St. Alphonsus meant, and not speaking to the merits of his assertion:

Moral necessity refers to a practical necessity. An absolute necessity is one where it is impossible to reach a goal without it. A moral necessity is one where it is practically, actually, and properly necessary to reach a goal, taking into account actual circumstances.

While this book is loved by many, it does reflect private devotions/revelations. Not everything in it is dogma of the Church.
