If anyone sets down those points that orthodox Catholicism has in
common with Mohammedanism, and those points only, one might imagine if one
went no further that there should have been no cause of quarrel. Mohammed
would almost seem in this aspect to be a sort of missionary, preaching and
spreading by the energy of his character the chief and fundamental
doctrines of the Catholic Church among those who had hitherto been
degraded pagans of the Desert. He gave to Our Lord the highest reverence,
and to Our Lady also, for that matter. On the day of judgment (another
Catholic idea which he taught) it was Our Lord, according to Mohammed, who
would be the judge of mankind, not he, Mohammed. The Mother of Christ, Our
Lady, “the Lady Miriam” was ever for him the first of womankind. His
followers even got from the early fathers some vague hint of her
Immaculate Conception.

Basically, when Mohammed formed Islam, he was trying to appeal to both people who were already Christians and people who weren’t. It wasn’t important for him to get rid of the idea of the importance of Mary and everything because the Christians that he conquered already were devoted to Mary, which would make Islam easier for them to accept. There wasn’t really any reason to get rid of Mary and stuff, the only stuff he had to get rid of was the Incarnation- the divinity of Jesus. This would also be easier for Christians to accept (he’s the Messiah, but not God), and it would also be a monothestic viewpoint easier for pagans to understand if there’s only one God, and not the Trinitarian “one God in three persons” Christian view.

The statement above from the OP bothers me - the prophet of islam died first & Fatima was still alive so mohamad could have not said or written this.

So, it could not have been “after the death of Fatima mohamad wrote”

Many churches were burnt or attacked by the muslims, here in Indonesia. But, not a single site for the Catholic’s veneration of Mother Mary is touched. To them, Mary is a righteous woman who bear the prophet of God.

It seems you become Islamic religion scholar now
