I found a medal that I’ve never seen before and was wondering if any one here knows what it is. I think it’s a Sacred Heart medal, but I’m not sure. It has the inscription: O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. It has the year 1830 on the bottom. I know the pics are a little grainy, I used my cell phone camera.

That’s the **MIRACULOUS MEDAL!!!

**It’s very famous and a powerful sacramental. I love my Miraculous Medal!
It has a Sacred Heart image and Immaculate Heart image on the back.

EVERYONE should get one! They are only like 25 cents each!

Keep it in your pocket, around your neck, or even by your bedside!

Get on the EWTN website and look up St Catherine LaBoure. The story of the Miraculous Medal is wonderful. It is a Marian Apparition and the only one where Mary allowed a person living on earth to touch her. There are many stories of conversions from people wearing a Miraculous Medal.

The Miraculous Medal Chapel on Rue de Bac in Paris, France is truly beautiful. You can see the chair that Mary sat in.

Blessings

Be sure to have your priest bless it and if you want to get in with some folks who have a deep devotion to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, then I suggest you consider joining us Militia Immaculata in our mission to evangelize the whole world.

There is an incredible novena prayer for that precious medal.
Immaculate Virgin Mary, mother of our Lord Jesus and our mother, we have confidence in your powerful and never-failing intercession, manifested often through the Miraculous Medal. We your loving and trustful children, ask you to obtain for us the graces and favors we ask during this novena if they will be for the glory of God and the salvation of souls. * (Here privately form your petitions.) * You know, O Mary, how often our souls have been the sanctuaries of your Son who hates iniquity. Obtain for us then a deep hatred of sin and that purity of heart which will attach us to God alone so that our every thought, word, and deed may tend to his greater glory. Obtain for us also a spirit of prayer and self-denial that we may recover by penance what we have lost by sin and at length attain to that blessed abode where you are the queen of angels and of men. Amen
