Mary mother and wife of God?

Hi all!
I’m a seeker. A believer in God the Father and his son Jesus Christ. In the Holy Spirit.
I’m trying to understand Mariology.
Is it true that Catholics believe that Mary espoused the Holy Spirit?
If so then She is God’s mother and wife?
Help me understand please. Thank you all who respond.
 
No, she is not God’s wife in a literal sense of the word.

Catholics (and Orthodox) believe that she is the Mother of God because she gave birth to God Himself here on earth - she has been defined as the “Theotokos,” or the “Mother of God.” Since Christ was fully God here on Earth, she gave birth to Christ, and thus she gave birth to God, and is thus the Mother of God.

In terms of “being espoused by the Holy Spirit,” in the sense of conceiving in her womb by the power of the Holy Spirit, yes - but she wasn’t “literally married” to the Holy Spirit. This is recorded in the Gospels.

The pious tradition of calling Mary the spouse of the Holy Spirit is about how close they were and continue to be.
