'Mary, Mother of the Christ': New Easter Epic For 2010, protestant or Catholic version?

The movie is not about Mary but empowerment of women. It is a feminist film.

I predict, though, that many Catholics will just ignore the director’s own words and promote the movie as a Marian moving picture extravaganza. And that which follows will be a repeat of the scandal and confusion that followed the Passion, Harry Potter, Twilight, etc., etc., etc.
