I have a question, for some reason I am confused. Mary never sinned because she was free of original sin right?

*This question is for Catholics
Thanks God Bless.

That is correct. The Redemptive work of our Lord was applied to Our Blessed Mother before she was born(The Immaculate Conception). Our Blessed Mother was not picked from differant women, but rather was created for this purpose. With free will she consented to the Father’s will.(Ge.3:15,Rev.12:1-18,St.Luke 1:26-38,46-55.Hope this helps.Rocky.

Mary was also sinless because in her life she never submitted to or chose to sin. She applied her free will only to choosing to live at all times with love and goodness.

Not exactly. Adam and Eve were created free of original sin and chose to sin. The mystery of how sin and evil entered creation is not completely understood. Mary was free of original sin due to special grace. She was protected from actual sin also by grace. She is full of grace according to the archangel. The important word there is full. There is no room in a vessel that is full of water, for anything else.
