They pretty much all did…for they loved and venerated her as we still do to this day.

Here is a good one to start with. The reason why I am giving this link is because this is the most recent from the Fathers that I have read. It is from St. Gregory the Wonderworker. He lived in the 3rd Century.

Why not try start with the Catholic Answers: Library on Mary and the Saints? It includes a series of quotations mentioning the Saints and our Lady in the early century. It also includes books and suggested reading right at the bottom of the page.

one I like is by Ignatius in the early 100’s
letter to ephesians 7 “…fruit of God and Mary’s seed…”
in light of Gen 3:15 & rev 12:17

other is mid to late 100’s
letter to diognetus 12
“… no longer is eve seduced; trust is placed in a virgin…”
