Just another small prayer for some intervention from the heavens above because my faith is still weak i have been struggling with lukewarmness, and i do not feel strong right now and would like to be refined please help. Thanks and God Bless!

O’ Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.

Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known, that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence I fly unto thee O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother. To you do I come; before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions
but in your mercy, hear and answer them.
Amen

:highprayer:

May the Holy Name of Mary, Bless You!
Mary conceived without sin, Pray for us.
Mary, Queen of Sorrows, lead us to praise for Your Son.
We ask in the Holy Name of Jesus.
Amen

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Yes, I will pray, but what I noticed most in your post was the word “feel”…many times we associate our faith with our feelings…sometimes it matches, but other times it doesn’t…Remember that those are times of testing when all emotion is taken out of the equation and our Lord asks us to have Faith, Trust in Him. It may seem like “going through the motions” but when done in trust and faith in our Lord, His grace will abound!! Do not fret…our Blessed Mother is very present with you!!

My prayers,
mlz

I think Mel Gibson’s film “The Passion of the Christ” is a wonderful way to meditate on Mary’s role in the church. It is truly beautiful. Think about all she suffered. And then I think you can’t help but love her.

In Honor of the Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary

O most holy and afflicted Virgin! Queen of Martyrs! thou who didst stand motionless beneath the Cross, witnessing the agony of thy expiring Son–through the unceasing sufferings of thy life of sorrow, and the bliss which now more than amply repays thee for thy past trials, look down with a mother’s tenderness and pity on me, who kneel before thee to venerate thy dolors, and place my requests, with filial confidence, in the sanctuary of thy wounded heart; present them, I beseech thee, on my behalf, to Jesus Christ, through the merits of His own most sacred death and passion, together with thy sufferings at the foot of the cross, and through the united efficacy of both obtain the grant of my present petition. To whom shall I resort in my wants and miseries if not to thee, O Mother of Mercy, who, having so deeply drunk of the chalice of thy Son, canst compassionate the woes of those who still sigh in the land of exile? Offer for me to my Savior one drop of the Blood which flowed from His sacred veins, one of the tears which trickled from His divine eyes, one of the sighs which rent His adorable Heart. O refuge of the universe and hope of the whole world, do not reject my humble prayer, but graciously obtain the grant of my petition.

Thank you so much everyone! St. Louis de Montfort’s “Prayer to Mary” had a big impact on me. (Though I understand we don’t technically pray to Mary). Thanks

CCC #2683 … When they entered into the joy of their Master, (#956) they were “put in charge of many things.” *42] Their intercession is their most exalted service to God’s plan. We can and should ask them to intercede for us and for the whole world.

*42 confer Matthew 25:21 (His master said to him, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share in your master’s joy.’) NAB 1990 Oxford University Press, Inc.]

So, technically we do pray “to Mary.” We offer adoration and worship only to God, however. It is a distinction in what is meant by “praying to,” which can be meant as “offering worship to.” I believe Dante explained a special ring of Hell for those who converted the Hellenistic worship practices to a heretical form of Marian devotion. It seems Hellen was a goddess, while Mary is only Mother of God. Who would consider asking the Mother of God to intercede in a matter?

I certainly would and St. Louis de Montfort should have her good ear, also. I expect his recommendations on efficacious prayer that is recognized as even a help to many martyrs over the decades might have the encouraging effect you noted. Be cautious of guillotines

Praying that the Lord may continue to strengthen you and draw your closer to Himself through Mary his Mother.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Thank you all so much for the prayers! Just hoping I finished strong, and for everyone else who tries. Will have to renew next year!

Thanks again everyone! Looking forward to completing the consecration again next year. This is a valuable tool for persevering in faith!

Gracious and merciful Father, please come to their assistance.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

Most dear Jesus,
filled with sorrow during the agony in the garden,
covered with a sweat of blood while praying,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
delivered into the hands of the wicked by a kiss,
bound like a robber,
and abandoned by your disciples,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
condemned to death by an unjust Council,
taken as an evildoer before Pilate,
and ridiculed by the wicked Herod,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
publicly shorn of your garments,
and most cruelly scourged at the pillar,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
crowned with thorns,
beaten and blindfolded,
clothed in rich purple and mocked,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
likened to the infamous Barabbas,
rejected by your people,
and unjustly sentenced to death,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
burdened with the weight of the Cross
and led to the place of execution like a lamb to the slaughter,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
reckoned with the wicked, blasphemed, and derided,
and given gall to drink to mitigate your pain,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
dying on the Cross in the presence of Mary,
pierced with a lance that drew blood and water from your side,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
taken down and placed in the arms of your Sorrowful Mother,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

Most dear Jesus,
horribly bruised and marked with five wounds,
annointed for burial and placed in a tomb,
have mercy on us, O Lord.

My Jesus,
I thank you for dying on the Cross for my sins.
Have mercy on us, O Lord.

Amen.**
