Hello Everyone, I’m sorry to bother you a third time but am struggling to hold onto my relationship with Mary, the mother of God. Finished the 33 day consecration by Louis de Montfort. Just another small prayer for some intervention from the heavens above because my faith is still weak i have been struggling with lukewarmness, and i do not feel strong right now and would like to be refined please help. Thanks and God Bless!

Perhaps it will help to unite your sufferings to those of Mary and Jesus.
Reflect on your own “sword of sorrow that pierces your soul”. It may eventually bring you to a better understanding of your place before God. Perhaps then, eventually, you will be able to say with Mary more fully: “my soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord”.

:highprayer: Heavenly Father, help bdrunner to grow closer to you through our Blessed Mother. Let him know of Your graces that come through her.

I sometimes think of Mary - and that very special relationship with God - the second person of the Trinity. Think of having a cancerous tumor within you and how it would radiate bad throughout your body; then think of having the Messiah, the Savior, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity within your body - radiating out grace upon grace, mercy upon mercy for nine months!!! WOW!!!

I also think about Mary as an unwed mother - when she said “yes” to God. I think (I don’t know Jewish law) she could have been stoned for being pregnant without a spouse - and yet - knowing what could have happened to her - she willing said “YES - Let it be done to me” and letting the Holy Spirit conceive in her. Another WOW!!!

And … how - through the work of the Holy Spirit and the Savior in her body she proclaims that “All generations shall call me blessed” - and that is so true. She IS the purest and highest of our human race - to be SO intimate with God. She changed God’s diapers (if you will). She can intercede for us. A third WOW!!!

Keep up - let her love continue to grow in your, it isn’t a one day consecration, it is a lifetime of letting her intercede for you as you trust in her and in her beloved Son - our savior!!! (And … as friend said - it is faith, not feeling - you may not ‘feel’ anything, but by faith, you believe!!)
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Holy Mother, please intercede for us.
Hold the sorrowful, strengthen the fearful,
give aid to all needing help or healing,
assist those who are sick, in pain or suffering,
be with those needing peace, console the lonely,
comfort the lost or hopeless, guard the unborn,
pray for those who are dying or who have died,
soften those with hardened hearts,
enlighten those who do not yet see truth,
help us be brave enough to let our hurt and anger go,
show us the way to do the right thing,
protect those who are in danger,
and guide us from every evil.
May all who keep your sacred commemoration
experience the might of your assistance.

Lord, please lead bdrunner with angelic guidance and the grace from the cross, through Our Lady, and to this soul, ever to cultivate a loving and trusting relationship with Our Lady, as you exhorted the beloved apostle to take her into his home, help this soul confidently do the same. Lead this soul through this and all matters, through the dark shadows of this fallen world, and ever toward the eternal light and gardens of heaven. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

Refined? Trial by fire? If you ask for humility, you will receive it. It hurts–our pride. If you ask to be refined, you will receive it. I will pray for you that you will be given gifts of strength, faith, peace, hope and love. God is a good Father. He loves us so much. Keep praying and keep an open mind… hopefully, understanding will flood in…
As a mother, Mary loves us, too! She is God’s gift to us, an example of a pure life keeping God in the first place no matter what…

Like your mother (in most cases) would go to school and plead with the teachers and principals for special favors, how much more will our Blessed Mother plead on our behalf and intercede for us with our Heavenly Father.
