Eliza look what it says above. You just proved Joseph was actually led by God INTO Egypt (pun half intended lol) AND it further says that he was going to get further instructions. God wouldnt be operating these plans under this scenario of a Big Blended Family.

And considering all these miracles, people think Joseph would have defiled her womb and had relations possibly transferring unclean spirits to her (some say all humans with stained flesh have thousands).

Some use the Quran as a source of tradition/opinion because it goes into more details and gives explanations on events. But even the Quran says that Jesus was protected by God the Father his whole life and even specifically mentioning God leading him to escape his accusers from stoning etc. This implies that St. Joseph would have been divinely CHOSEN to fulfill this role to protect both Mother and Child.

It seems to be a common tactic to describe a charicature of the opposing view so it can be more easily dismissed. I don’t usually waste my time responding to such posts.

One little point I would like to make.
Jesus ’ birth and upbringing was hidden from most of the world and pa4ticularly the evil one. A young Jewish couple with a single child would have stood out like a sore thumb. A young bride of a widower with children of his own would be unremarkable having only one child. What better place to hide the infant Christ than a so called ‘blended’ family.
