The Remnant keeps getting further and further off the rails. This article is a great example of when some one needs to remove their own beam of cult-like behavior.

Agreed. That is absolutely horrible that they weren’t allowing visitors for the dying.

But the reason for the masks is the same: to keep your droplets from nose and mouth from contaminating others.

I found this poll very interesting. Interpret it how you wish. I will just say it is evidence at how political this whole mask issue as supposed to “safety”

There are three kinds of lies: lies, worse lies, and statistics.

At least from the screenshot you’ve provided, this poll doesn’t say much of anything. How many people total were interviewed? How many Republicans? How many Democrats? What of the Independents, were their results thrown out, or were they told to pick either Democrat or Republican? How strongly did those people feel about their political affiliation? Where did this polling take place: was it one city, one state, across the country? Were the Republicans and Democrats polled both in “red zones” and places with few cases? How old were the people being polled? Do they have families? Do they have health problems such as a compromised immune system or COPD? Are they in isolation or seeing people? What are their jobs? How many of them work in healthcare? Have they lost their job due to this pandemic? If they have jobs, can they and/or do they work remotely? How many have been or know someone who has tested positive for coronavirus?

That poll is political alright.

There are precedents for various rules that restrict people’s access to the church building or the Mass. For example:

1. Requiring a dress code;
2. Going through security control, prohibiting certain items deemed dangerous or too difficult to control;
3. Requiring a ticket, a preregistration or a reservation of a seat.

We can conclude that bishops have disciplinary power to enact rules like these. I did not see comparing mask rules with these precedents. I don’t think they are obviously different.
