That’s why I said they were unnecessary if they are in the bulletin… If they are not in there, then they are necessary. 👍
 
I am familiar with parishes that do a short version of the announcements (“see the bulletin for the details”) prior to the start of Mass. It takes perhaps a minute and does not interrupt anything.
