Question about Mass Cards. I am new to the Church, and every now-and-again on CAF, I see a reply about Mass Cards. What are they? Are they the same as a holy card?
If that’s what I think it is, it’s like a greeting card, but you send it to your friend to let them know that you have arranged for a Mass to be said on their behalf. Of course you have to arrange for the Mass to be said before sending the card!

This. If you would like a Mass to be said for a deceased person, then you arrange for a Mass card to be sent to the family of the deceased person by contacting the parish where you want the Mass to be said, usually the home parish of the deceased. A card then is given to the deceased family.
