As we know, we celebrate Christmas for eight days. Here is what our parish does on weekdays during the Octave of Christmas: Mass includes incense (at all the possible points), three or four Christmas carols (procession, offertory at least), and daily Mass ends with exposition of the most Blessed Sacrament. We have adoration until early evening, when we have Carols, Blessings, and Lessons followed by Benediction.
Aren’t we blessed?
Does anyone else do anything similar?
We do cancel the early a.m. Mass; the mid-day Mass is the only one during this time.
