Is it permissible to have a Mass said for a deceased non-Catholic (my husband)??

Yes.

You can have a mass said for anyone, Catholic or not.

My condolences on your loss.

I have never heard that it was prohibited. In fact, it is a corporal work of mercy to pray for the dead, so I can’t see it being a problem.

I have had Masses offered for some of my family members who were not Catholic. I was never even asked if they were or not, so I am pretty sure it makes no difference.

Yes, of course…You can have masses said for anyone.

I’m so sorry for your loss.

Mass in honor of the dead is a
corporal work of mercy, how much
more in this Year of Mercy!!

Our Father, who is in heaven,
hallowed be your Name,
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses as
we forgive those who trespass against us,
(Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors)
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
