Correction - it’s in the Underground Basilica - that of Pius X . That is not a minor Basilica - it’s the one used for all International Masses

Thanks for the correction, though check again. The underground Basilica of Pius X is described as a Minor Basilica in various sources…
 
Looks like the wafer lost or absorbed humidity and then snapped into a slightly concave shape, like the top of a mason jar or a tamper-evident jar lid.

If it happened to a corn tortilla at a restaurant no one would think twice about it. But whenever something unusual happens in a religious context, everyone assumes it’s some kind of miracle.

I tried looking up resources on the date of this video at the Vatican and nothing thus far shows officially of any investigation, though not to conclude their hasn’t been. Due to the sensationalism of both videos I’m trying to think that in a Vatican investigation, requested by parish priest witnesses, officials would ask for the original copy of the video before permitting such to be aired over a secular media streaming site such as Youtube to thwart off ridicule.

Sorry to say, but there’s something crass about sticking a camera into the mouth of the woman holding the consecrated Host on her tongue, and everyone goggling at it. The man in the suit stands over to her and seems to feign surprise and heralds the “miracle,” and the camera movements seem to imply that it is all unexpected in 2010.

Here they are in Korea with cameras at the ready, and the same woman obligingly holding her mouth open in 1995:

Not so much. I had in mind the behavior of this gadget, sold as a toy: akron-novelty.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=4546

When you press it inside out, it snaps back to its original shape after a delay. If you compare this video with the host videos, especially the slow-motion magnifications, you can see that the host wobbles a little upon snapping up, as if it is balancing on a convex belly, just like the toy in this example: youtube.com/watch?v=uT1vL8W2PHA

In some respects I tend to agree given the circumstances of the video. What gets me is why would the woman receiving Holy Communion pause and wait to swallow the host or was she self aware something was happening on her tongue. Was it too convenient that someone was nearby with a camera, particularly the short time interval someone else took immediate time to notice?

I don’t know.🤷 I don’t consciously wait to swallow the Blessed Sacrament nor do I have my mouth open after reception of the Blessed Lord. My focus is being prayerfully humble, thankful and reverently aware of “Whom” it “IS” I’m receiving into my soul.

I’m not knocking the video per-say just having reservations.

Wow! thanks for the confirmation of the video. I never knew this woman’s name from the beginning. All Catholics are bound to stand by the wisdom of the Catholic Church decision on this matter. Many thanks again.
