This year the Assumption is on a Monday. I looked and no churches around me at all have Mass on Mondays :S. The Latin Mass church does but its in another city. I don’t know if I’d be able to go with transportation difficulties at the moment… though I’ll try my best as far as it depends on me.

I live in Canada so I guess its not a day of obligation here anymore - though I’m Eastern Catholic and for me its a major feast too. 🤷 I have permission to follow the calendar in the Latin rite cause I live outside the territory of my rite church. Anyway I’m just wondering is anyone else in this situation and how would you try to celebrate this feast day? I’m hoping very much to make it to Mass and try my best to get there. What do we do when it happens to be on a Monday?

When the Assumption of Our Blessed Mother happens to be on a Monday and it is not possible to get to Mass, you can do some private devotions to Our Lady in addition to what you already do daily. How about the Litany, the Angelus, and meditating on her Assumption. I am sure there are other devotions you can think of.
