I have often done for one reason or another…there is no problem with it.
 
Yes, but there is a limit to how many times a day you can receive Communion.

Actually, you can attend as many times during the day as you want. It is just that you can only receive the Eucharist two times in one day and one must be a Mass.

Thank you for the response. That is what I thought I had heard or read somewhere that you can only receive the Eucharist once a day, but you say twice. I love the am Mass and if time alots and work schedule allows the evening Mass is the perfect end to a day!
 
Code of Canon Law:
Can. 917 One who has received the blessed Eucharist may receive it again on the same day only within a eucharistic celebration in which that person participates, without prejudice to the provision of can. 921 §2.
