hello
I was wondering, does anyone know what is the correct quantity of Masses one should offer up for a deceased loved one? I read one story about Gregorian Masses being offered up for consecutive 30 days for a monk in the 6th Century and how this tradition has continued among Catholics. Has anyone got anything to add to this? Do we have to consider how sinful someone was before we make an estimation, or is their a set amount which we should adhere to?
Thanks in advance!!
