My dad passed away a few weeks ago. It has taken me awhile to process donations made to the family, to our charity of choice (Mary’s Meals), and donations specifically for masses to be said for my dad.

I am wondering if somebody could recommend a religious order that serves in a poor area (Africa or in the Middle East) that is in need of money. I know that there are some orders that do this and I would like the mass money to be sent where it is needed. There already were/will be masses said for my dad at the local church that he belonged and by a Bishop I am in contact with.

Thanks!

Forgive me if this is the wrong forum/subforum. I have not visited this site in a while.

Aid to the Church in Need is a Catholic charity that helps in areas of religious persecution. You can have Masses said through them. (Look under the Mass Offerings tab.)
