Interesting, though in and around my city it fails to list several parishes including my own. I wonder how it generates all the info.
 
It also lists SSPX parishes without much if any explication what this means. I often wonder how many unsuspecting Catholics in union with Rome attended these pariahs accidentally. Otherwise, it’s a very useful website.

You should report that, because it should not be happening. They don’t list the SSPX near me. It is known to their search engine but it won’t show up in the Mass times listing. Their “About…” page says “Mass Times only lists Catholic churches that are on diocesan web sites or information provided by a dioceses”
 
I used to be on the road for three weekends out of four— usually to small, remote towns that didn’t have their own websites. I really liked the MassTimes website, but it wasn’t as reliable as I would have preferred. I thought I was getting to Mass ten minutes early… I walked in at communion. Other times, I arrived at Mass on time… the parking lot was empty and the only Mass they had had occurred the evening before.

It’s probably easier to cross-check nowadays… it’s good when it’s good, but it’s disappointing when you find an inaccuracy.

If you’re only interested in diocesan EFs, you should use this guide.

I would say its best to check the diocesan websites to get links to local church sites as sometimes Masstimes.org does not have the most up to date detail. Discovermass is a newer site with good detail also. Seekandfind also has good detail too. Most of the referenced sites will have uploaded bulletins that will have current Mass times too.

masstimes will have the phone # so you can call the parish and even if the office is closed the message on their voicemail will have the current Mass Times.
