You made it sound like sins against the sixth commandment can never be venial. Others sins, you said, exist in varying degrees of gravity, but sins against the sixth commandment, as you said, do not have a “low degree which makes them venial.” I would assume that means that you think that sins against the sixth commandment are always mortal?

Je peux lire le français, alors si vous souhaitez m’envoyer un message privé pour en discuter, tout ira bien.

The sin against the 6th commandment can be venial because of the circumstances or because of ignorance, but never because of its degree of commission which would be low. That’s basically what I meant.

Sorry, but your categorization is simply yours, not a general guide for other people. I think it´s about the sinner and his/her priest to find out what kind of gravity lies in a particular fault.
Look, imho this whole discussion is not useful. Maybe I have another understanding of it as I´m orthodox and we don´t really have this clear distinction and categorizing of sins, beside what we call “dealy sins” like murdering a priest, etc. But no matter how venial or grave a sin is in catholic context, it´s a sin against god and yourself, and your “emergency kit” is always the same, go to confession and try your best to not sin again.
