Where does math come from? I think that’s a really valid question.
I will answer your question with one of my own: Where do verbs come from?Where does math come from? I think that’s a really valid question.
The human imagination. But math is different. Humans travelled across space and landed on the moon… Without Eve having been there before, they were able to depart there and return home… Mathematics is what allowed that to happen .I will answer your question with one of my own: Where do verbs come from?
Are you implying that language hasn’t accomplished equally amazing things? Remember that you need language to reply to this, or even to comprehend my meaning. The human imagination. But math is different. Humans travelled across space and landed on the moon… Without Eve having been there before, they were able to depart there and return home… Mathematics is what allowed that to happen .
How could there be different mathematical structures to describe physical reality? Or do you mean different mathematical languages?I would think that if there are several possible mathematical structures and there are several universes each with thier own maths, the “coincidence” is not so surprising
Because you said so, perhaps? How could there be different mathematical structures to describe physical reality? Or do you mean different mathematical languages?
to which you repliedCould God have created a universe with another mathematical structure in mind?
I seems that you think there is only one possible mathematical structure but that nevertheless, God could have used other ones to create physical reality. Why not? There is no obvious reason why this should be the only universe. There may be others which are utterly different.
