Matthew 2:23, “And He went and settled in a town called Nazareth; that there might be fulfilled what was spoken through the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.”

In what verse did the prophets say this?
 
I think it has to do with Judges 13:7 “But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death.”
 
Bill, why do you post all these in Non-Catholic Religions. The places for this is ‘Sacred Scripture’.

This does not come from the Prophets of the OT. It was a foreshadowing that the Prophets would call Jesus the Nazarene.

It does not say that in a verse. It was spoken as it clearly says. No one denies that oral tradition was a means to communicate. Even Sola Scriptura advocates(which I am not one) would not say there is no such thing as oral tradition. They merely claim that scripture alone is the highest one. What strawman are you trying to kick around?🤷
