Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

Muslims is using this verse as proof that Jesus prayed to allah… TAKE NOTE: he fell with his face on the ground and prayed…

How to refute this claim?

Hi daraku,

Allah is just the Arabic word for God. It is also used by Arabic-speaking Christians.

So yes, Jesus was praying to Allah/God. So what does that prove? That we should always pray with our face to the ground, as the celebrant does on Good Friday? Even Muslims don’t always pray with their face to the ground.

Are you sure Muslims are making this argument?

Falling to ones knees isn’t proof of anything. Plenty of Jesus’ followers fell to their knees. Falling to your knees is very obviously just a sign of humility and in no way can be claimed by any one religion.
