I was wondering about these saints whose tombs were opened and bodies raised, and appeared to many after Jesus’ resurrection. Were their bodies taken to heaven after they roamed the city? Are there any other accounts of them appearing? I am very curious to get more info on these risen saints.
 
The bible doesn’t tell us who these risen “holy ones” were,
but I certainly believe that they were raised in glorified bodies and eventually taken into heaven. The reason is that it says they went in to the Holy City and were “seen by many,”
not that they remained and hung around afterwards
only to die again.
After all, if THAT had been the case,
wouldn’t they have joined the early Church
and been active members until they died again???
No, I believe that these saints had glorified bodies
and appeared to many, and then went into heaven.
