Ok, let me rephrase. How do we know for certain that Jesus’ guards didn’t fall asleep (admittedly that’s hard to believe) or pass out from drugs or drink?

How do you know we’re not all automated computer bots instead of people?

We trust in the scriptures. The guards were bribed to lie and say the disciples stole the body. They would only need to be bribed to do this if they had no explanation for where Jesus’ body went.
