May a Catholic listen to Christian music?

Not to start an argument, but Catholics ARE Christians, the original Christians. It may be just a semantic argument, but it doens’t help when Catholics say things like,“I’m not a Christian, I’m a Catholic” or “can we hang out with Christians if we’re Catholic?” We were called Christian long before we were ever called Catholic.

I’ve often found much truth in non-Catholic Chrisitian music. As long as it doesn’t contradict a specific church teaching or promote anti-Catholic sentiments, it’s fine to me. God’s spirit moves where It wills.
