May a Catholic teach stories that contain witch characters?

Hi,

I’m training to be a teacher and I was wondering if it is morally wrong or at least not ideal morally:

a) to read to the children stories that contain witches (who are portrayed as evil) in them

b) to read to the children stories that contain ‘good witches’ (e.g. Glinda the Good Witch in the Wizard of Oz)

Hi,

As long as such characters are portrayed in fairy tales, children are not likely to take them seriously. I certainly, didn’t and I heard many stories with all kinds of witches.
