Hello,
I have an important problem. My daughter called me from college tonight and asked me about going on the pill, because her periods have gotten so out of control and awful. She told me that they are the worst they have ever been. She is NOT, nor has EVER been sexually active, she wants to wait until she is married. We talked about taking the pill and how it could cause promiscuity. So, I understand her pain, because mine were horrific when I was her age until I went on the pill. Years later I went off of them because they were making me sick and I was niave and didn’t know how it could termiate a pregnacy. Sooo, is their something out there that she can take that will help these horriable cramps that last for 4 days straight. 4 Midol at a time are not working, heating pads and hot showers are not helping at all.
As a catholic, trying to follow her faith, can someone give us advice.
