May a couple have relations after a tubal ligation?

A friend of mine had a tubal after having three children because she didn’t want to have any more. Her husband has passed away and she just recently remarried an older man (80 yrs. old). What is the teaching of the Catholic church on sexual relations between this couple since she cannot have children? Thank you.
