Ruh-rohActually, I think if everyone in the Church tried to be holier than the Church that’d be great. I don’t find the Church hierarchy at current the best measure for zeal.
Yes but I believe a layman may act in the subdeacon’s role of presenting the epistle, etc.Get two deacons, and you have the setup for a Solemn Mass every time.
Instituted acolyte. Since the FSSP still performs the ordinations to minor orders, “straw” subdeacons are sometimes used among those who have been ordained Acolyte or higher. In other cases, those instituted according to the Roman Ritual can also be used.porthos11:![]()
