May a divorced lady receive Eucharist?

I have a friend ,a lady who was rejected by her husband and they were not married in the Church but they developed misunderstandings and the man married a second wife and the first one went to the parish priest and now recieves holy Eucharist. But she still lives with her children in the house of her husband even if the husband does not come home. Is this okay in the Catholic church?

If the woman has gone to Confession she may certainly receive Holy Communion. Divorce does not keep people from the Eucharist, divorce and the attempt to re-marry, however, does.
