May a Muslim convert become a Catholic priest?

Dear Fr., can a muslim who converted to Catholic faith become a priest?
 
Hi,

Of course–so long as he faithfully practices his Catholic faith. However, most converts have to wait a couple years to get grounded in the faith before they begin their studies.
