May a non-priest perform as a vested priest in a play?

Would the Church have any objection to a non-priest wearing a cassock, in order to represent a priest in a play? Performed respectfully of course.

Why would it? There are many movies in which actors have portrayed priests (e.g., On the Waterfront, I Confess), so I don’t see any difference with that and performing as a priest in a play.
