Hello - could you please explain whether an Anglo-catholic can take mass at a Catholic Church and if not why not?

Thank you

Dear friend,

Calling yourself and Anglo-Catholic doesn’t change the fact that you are an Anglican. The Catholic Church does not have inter-Communion with reformation churches because we differ on some very basic things that go far deeper than appearances.

If you desire to receive the Lord in Holy Communion in the Catholic Church, become a Catholic–without a hyphen. You are in our prayers.

Fr. Vincent Serpa, O.P.
