We crown the statue of our Blessed Mother in the kitchen. It’s the love behind the act, not the public or private nature of it, that truly matters.
It’s a very beautiful thing to bring these traditions into our homes, to keep our faith ever before us

I don’t see an issue with it especially in light of how the Franciscan Crown rosary is said to have come about.
