Hello,

May I be so bold as to ask for prayers for myself, please?

I have been having excrutiating headaches, not made better by any OTC meds.
Then on Sunday, in a church I was visiting (as I mentioned my DH and I are visiting churches) I fainted.

Now, my Doctor has scheduled a bunch of tests - an MRI of my head and some heart tests. They are sheduled for Thursday and Friday August 14 and 15, I will also be wearing some sort of heart monitor Friday and Sat.

I have serious fears of doctors, tests, needles as well as any illness - I guess they are closer to phobias - even the MRI scares me. I am such a wimp.

Will you please pray, not only that the tests come back OK but that this terrible fear will go away - I can’t sleep or function well.

I am just terrified of going to the hospital and I am just as terrified of the results…

Please pray that I can truly put my faith and trust in the Lord…I pray and pray and yet do not feel calmed. I know this is a lack on my part, not God’s.

I will keep everyone in my prayers as well.

Thank you in advance - I know right now that prayer and faith is what I need the most.

Jane you have cause to feel upset and anxious! Who wouldn’t!
I will keep you in my Masses and prayers, asking God to reassure you and give you rest and sleep.

Jesus please stay close to Jane during her tests and MRI, and let her feel Your reassuring and loving presence. Let her think of You holding her hand all the time she is in hospital, and while she is awaiting the results.

Please give Jane the hope and faith she needs to carry her through this and all the events of her life. Please give her Your llove and peace.

Bless you, Jane,

Trishie:coffee: :coffee:

Headaches are a NIGHTMARE! I have daily migraines - debilitating. But, there is something out there for you that will hellp you. I will pray that your fear is calmed. I will pray that God is with you every step of the way and that Our Lady holds your hand during your tests. Be at peace. Many prayers are being said for you. Please keep us posted.

Much love,

May the Lord bless you and free you from all pain.

For the Lord our God is awesome, he can do anything and everything!!

Lord we ask for a complete healing for Jane in your mighty name…
Free her from all anxiety and fear… grant her your grace of PEACE.

Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Saint Teresa of Avila, you are known as the patron Saint of those suffering from headaches and other bodily ills. Intercede for JustJane, seeking relief for him. Saint Teresa, please pray for him.

Amen.

Praying for you, dear. Jesus, Divine Healer, be with your daughter as she faces her biggest fears.

OH, thank you each and everyone for the sweet and kind words and prayers. I DO feel calmer after reading them and praying with them.

Be assured each of you is now on my prayer list.

I am so embarrassed that I am letting this overwhelm me with such fear - I know the tests themselves are NOT that bad but I keep thinking what if…you know - what if it IS a brain tumor (One possibility) and what IF it IS my heart - (the other possibility.)

I am going to print out all the prayers and take them with me on both days for all the tests…just knowing that such compassionate people care and are praying helps…I know He hears our prayers.

God bless,

Jane

As protection I set you and as the shield of my life,
you gave birth to God, Virgin Mother, guide me as a pilot now
into your anchorage,
you the support of the faithful,
source of all good things, you alone the one all-praised.

**I **entreat you, O Virgin, dispel the strife in my soul,
pacify, I pray you, the tempest of my despondency,
for you, O Bride of God,
gave birth to him who is calm’s source,
you gave birth to Christ, you alone are the one all-praised.

Benefactor is he whom you bore and cause of all good,
pour out then for all the abundant wealth of his benefits,
power to do all things,
is yours who bore Christ the mighty,
powerful in strength is he, O greatly blessed by God.

Cruel illnesses test me, and passions most damaging,
help me, I beseech you, O Virgin, aid me, all-blameless one,
for I know you to be
the inexhaustible treasure,
never failing storehouse, of healings that have no price.

Hail Mary full of Grace
The Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou among women
and Blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus
Holy Mary mother of God
Pray for us sinners now
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Hi,

I had my Brain MRI yesterday and my heart tests today - I am wearing a 24 heart monitor as I type.

I want to thank you all for you prayers - I had them on my heart (literally) during the MRI and in my hand during the heart tests.

Although I was not 100 percent calm, I was far better than I was about all this at first and did well during all tests, even the MRI which scared me terribly beforehand.

IF any of you is claustrophobic and need an MRI may I sugest the “Open MRI”. Made all the differnce in the world…I took my own worship music CD, a blanket and my husband to hold my hand…that and your prayers got me through with no panic or undue stress - all you do is lie there and rest.

Hopefully I will know the results of all these tests next week

So please keep me in your prayers that the outcome is good!

Thank you again for all your prayers and intentions…I have calmed down considerably since last week and have actually slept the last two nights.

I haven’t had people pray for me in many years and rarely had any who didn’t know me do so. This had given me so much peace and hope. Although I am still somewhat worried/scared over/of the many test results that could be serious, I am not having the outright panic attacks I was having - a step in the right direction if not all the way yet!
Code:
However, I had another incident this morning...ironically in church again. I did not pass out this time, because I was aware of the feeling and was able to get out and lie down.
So, again I ask for continued prayers for both physical and spiritual/emotional healing.

Thank you - I pray for each of you.

Dear Jane,

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to pray for you as you also pray for us.

I will pray for positive results of all the medical tests. I will also pray that whatever is causing you to have these bad headaches and to faint be discovered so it can be addressed.

I will pray to God to increase your faith and your trust in Him!!

I will aslo pray to our Lady that she may cover you in her mantle.
