May I become Catholic after a tubal ligation?

4 Years ago at the birth of our 3rd child…I had a tubal ligation…it was a mutual decision between DH and I. DH is and was Catholic at the time. Will this prevent ME from becoming Catholic if I chose to go that route because of what I did in the past? Will my DH being Catholic at the time have any bearing on it?
