May I marry in the Catholic Church?

I am a widowed mother of two children, and I am also Christian. My fiancee is a divorced Catholic. My question is this: We wish to be married in the Catholic Church, however I am unsure of the formalities and procedures we must follow through with to make this happen. I am unsure of where to begin, or whether I can marry within the Catholic Church being non-Catholic. Please help. :confused:
 
Dear katina,

So long as neither of you is divorced there should be no obstacle to your getting married in the Catholic Church. The Catholic party in such marriages is required to promise to do all in his or her power to rear any future children in that marriage as Catholics.

I suggest that you contact a local Catholic parish to discuss your plans with a priest. You both are in my prayers.
